 Surgery Computer Systems
GP World offers you the ability to work at any surgery (whether private or
NHS), PCT, HMP and Walk in Centre throughout the UK. Due to the vast difference
in computer systems used throughout these organisations, we have now dedicated a
web page which allows you to go straight to each computer system and gain a
further insight to how they function.
For example if you click on to the EMIS logo below you will be redirected to the
EMIS Learning centre. This allows you to attend online learning and training
sessions; all you need is a broadband or N3 internet connection and telephone
line. The EMIS training team delivers regular free webcasts – video broadcasts
via the World Wide Web. Initially a live broadcast will be streamed at a
scheduled time and date then stored to allow you to access training at a time
and place that suits you.
EMIS paid online learning sessions are delivered live by one of their
professional training staff and available throughout the year.

how they can also assist you in your knowledge for the most commonly used GP
