Locum General Practitioner (GPwER) Dermatology - Gloucestershire
GP World have an amazing new GP opportunity located in Gloucestershire within a Dermatology service. The service offers a great continuity of shifts for ongoing locums who are keen and experienced working within Minor Ops and General Dermatology clinics. The diverse patient population who present with a variety of medical and social needs, delivering innovative and sustainable care for all.
Shift Patterns: Various shifts from 8 hours a day
Days: Offers weekdays only (Monday - Friday)
Rates: £1250 a day
Start date: ASAP
Requirements:
- GMC registration with license to practice in the UK
- On the GMC’s GP register minimum 12 months experience
- GPwSI/GPwER qualification within Dermatology or equivalent
- Good experience within Minor Ops and General Dermatology - minimum 3 years experience
- Professional medical indemnity insurance coverage appropriate to role
Role Purpose and Skills:
- Any referrals to secondary care Dermatology needs to be highlighted to the admin team for onward referral and admin team will create a new ERS referral. Please complete a referral letter
- All referrals to other specialties can be added as an action for the GP in the patient's clinic letter.
- All skin biopsies to be added to Minor Surgery waiting list, indicating this on your outcome.
- All patients for cryotherapy to be added to our Minor Surgery waiting list.
- All 2WW referral Forms need to be completed and an urgent email sent to the admin team.
