Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner Lancashire UCC &UTC
GP World has a great new opportunity as an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner & Nurse Practitioner to cover Lancashire UCC & UTC across Preston and Chorley. Long term locum work is being offered for on going work.
This is a great new opportunity in an incredibly diverse community and join a great team. Both services are fast paced and require experienced clinicians to work autonomously, working efficiently and effectively to support and clear the demand within Urgent Care.
Shift Patterns: Hours vary from 08:00 - 20:00, 10:00 - 22:00 - 12:00 -00:00 usually 12 hours shifts, however shorter shifts are also offered to 18:30 - 00:00
Days: Offer Up to 7 days a week
Rates: £45 - £60 per hour
Start date: As soon as possible
Requirements:
- Full registration with the NMC or equivalent
- Nursing Diploma or equivalent
- Masters (MSc) in nursing or equivalent
- Independent Prescriber (V300)
- Must cover injuries and illnesses
- Adastra experience ideal, however can be trained on this
Role Purpose and Skills:
Need to be able to see /assess/treat patients of all ages (adult and children) presenting with illness and injury. Be available to cover triage but would also be ideal if your are able to verify death, cover visits and DVT's.
