Salaried Independent Nurse Prescriber -London
GP World have an amazing new nursing opportunity as an Independent Nurse Prescriber located in London. This will be to join a Primary Care Team to cover the clients sites across London. You will be working with high profile clients ensuring they have direct access to exceptional healthcare support.
Shift Patterns: (Full-Time)
Days: Monday - Friday
Salary: £58,000 per annum plus benefits, with career development to completed MSc in Advanced Nursing.
Start date: As soon as possible
Requirements:
- NMC Registration with PIN
- Independent prescribing
- Provide a treatment service for client employees with minor injuries and illnesses including onwards referral to own GP, in-house GP or hospital emergency services as appropriate
- 3 years Primary Care experience working within a GP Practice/s
- Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate treatment programmes that promote health and well-being. Support patients to adopt health promotion strategies in healthy living.
- Review medication for therapeutic effectiveness appropriate to patients needs and evidence-based practice
- Provide support and guidance to the health care assistants and junior staff as needed.
Role Purpose and Skills:
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, integrating both medication and lifestyle-based interventions
- Ability to work independently and determine own priorities as well as work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Delivering travel health consultations and administering vaccinations, including bespoke advice for international assignments
- Acting as the first point of contact for adult patients—providing expert assessment, treatment, and ongoing care for a wide range of health concerns
- Leading seasonal flu vaccination programmes across the client site
- Conducting vision screening and other preventative health assessments
