We’re looking for family doctors who have passed their mandatory English language exam or are in the process of this and must have a GMC recognised post-graduate degree in family medicine. Are you ready to move to the UK? Start your journey today by registering below.

How do I become a registered doctor in the UK?

The registration process follows 5 steps:

  1. Evidence of GMC recognised primary care medical qualification.
  2. Prove your knowledge of English – IELTS / OET Exam
  3. Register with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  4. Pass the MCQ assessment
  5. Complete the Induction & Refresher (I&R) Scheme

After an introductory conversation, you’ll be asked to undertake an initial evaluation of your English communication. Our team can help you by answering any questions you have and providing you with the resources you need to help you successfully obtain your IELTS/OET certificate.

Once you obtain your English language certificate, you’ll be ready to apply to register with the GMC. In order to complete your registration you will be required to attend a short interview to obtain approval to sit the I&R MCQ assessment.

After passing your MCQ assessment and Simulated Surgery - should it be necessary - you will be able to start working as a GP under the supervision and guidance of a senior doctor. On completion of the GP Induction & Refresher Scheme, you’ll be registered on the National Medical Performers List and will be able to practice freely as a GP in the UK.
