Locum Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner –Berkshire UCC
GP World have a great opportunity as an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner within an Urgent Care Centre located in Berkshire. It is a challenging and fast paced service where you will require extensive experience across Urgent Care and must be able to work autonomously. This is in a diverse community with a great team and structured set up to allow a smoothing running service.
Shift Patterns: 0800 - 2030
Days: Offer Up to 7 days a week
Rates: £45 - £65 per hour depending on experience
Start date: As soon as possible
Requirements:
- Full registration with the NMC or equivalent
- Nursing Diploma or equivalent
- Masters (MSc) in nursing or equivalent
- Independent Prescriber (V300)
- Must cover illness and injuries
- SystmOne experience
- Home Visits required where needed
Role Purpose and Skills:
Must be able to manage acute presentations to the service as part of a team of autonomous practitioners; additionally they will use the clinical knowledge and skills to determine urgency and best pathway for patients presenting to the Emergency Departments. Using your advanced assessment skills of history taking and clinical examination, you must make a diagnosis and initiate an appropriate care plan including any necessary diagnostic tests of referral.
